yeah there are some maps that aren’t on chronicals plus if you have them all you might end up wanting to play the bo1 versions more cause they’re more challenging

I’ll be honest unless your planning to play Call of the dead or 5 or Der rise (thats a pre-order BO3 DLC) they are the only 2 maps that didn’t make it on to BO3 chronicles

call of the dead fs fs

Yes it’s worth it. They both play differently one using bo3 mechanics and the other using bo1 mechanics. They also have entirely different guns besides the wonder weapons. Saying you made it to round 40 on bo1 is a lot different than saying you made it to round 40 on bo3

Yes the maps play a lot better in bo1 in my opinion also you’re missing COTD and five
Siliberos
Can’t beat that classic sounding 1911 starting pistol

i have the chronicles and never bothered getting the bo1 maps they are so expensive while they do play different, the only one i would consider is call of the dead
Llama_Logic
Long term the investment would be for call of the dead and five, since all the other maps on that game are on chronicles so I’d say if you like those maps and see yourself playing them more then once go for it

If you are a big fan of zombies and want to explore the other game modes 100% yes. Each game feels different and BO1 has a great classic zombies feel without the gobblegums and way better guns and sound effects. I would even recommend buying WaW and getting at least the Der Riese dlc it’s fun using the OG zombie weapons and cool ambiance
Ero_Najimi
Yes because they play different. FIVE co op is fun and COTD is great

If you enjoy the way BO1 feels and plays (way more hardcore than bo3) I’d buy it but bo3 can offer a similar experience.
If you’re on PC you can still play Call of the Dead on BO3. For free
Mikeyy_C
Definitely. Bo1 is the best.

I can _hear_ this picture. My god I miss that menu so much. BO1 is amazing.
