That is a lot of money for someone who’s unexperienced in Tier 1.
And a lot of reason to hatewatch even more if they somehow don’t have 10 year lasting era.
I say worth. The real question is who is he going to replace?
This will either go down as the best transfer in history, or one of the worst. No in-betweens. (And I’m really hoping it’s the latter so we can finally be rid of this Falcons org, they’ll eventually get tired of losing and just exit CS out of shame)

So Falcons paid 5.5m for the “m0nesy + NiKo + kyousuke” trio
I expected no more than $1m given that he’s completely inexperienced in tier 1 (M0nesy, a similar level talent, was sold from Na’Vi Junior to G2 for $600k), so that’s kind of insane. Now Spirit can go ahead and spend a quarter of that to buy out Zweih from Nemiga (works out far cleaner role-wise than Kyo would’ve been, too) and they’re golden.
If he wasn’t a Russian top fragger on Spirit Academy, he would never be getting this insane level of hype
He should be a star player in T1, but the donk comparisons are much too weak to justify this price tag. I guess there are no rules when you have more money than common sense tho

How much will donk be when they add him?
Kyousuke’s probably the happiest person in the world that donk exists. Donk’s existence singlehandedly made teams horny and FOMO for the next Donk.
Given Kyousuke’s eye test, the numbers he puts up in T2-3 and him being from Spirit Academy, a proven system where many talents have made to T2 and T1 at this point and where of course donk himself came from, it’s like Kyousuke has the perfect storm in terms of hype and context around his situation that makes it so that any team would be crazy interested in him, especially a bottomless money team like Falcons to the point where they are willing to pay an astronomical 2 Million buyout for a player that’s unproven in tier 1 because all the stars are aligned for it to be a success, at least on paper.
Will be very interesting to see how it pans out on the server.
