    I have no idea why games stopped doing game over scenes. The Arkham series especially did an excellent job with them.

    Hot Grunty was unexpected and… a moment for me as a young boy. Would have been 12/13? So yeah. pahaha.

    Though this wasn’t the initial on my “fancying the slightly scary dark haired girl/woman” thing. That started like age 8-9 and watching Addams Family Values. This did certainly contribute though.

    Honestly the game-over scene from this game gave me nightmares as an 8-year-old. Never beat the game, even when I got Rare Replay. I should go finish it.

    I remember being so annoyed that it would play even if you just save and quit. 12 year old me needs to go eat dinner or something and the game is like “oh shit you’re just gonna give up? Okayyyy… [Roll bad end]”. I had to rush to turn it off so I wouldn’t be sad.
