He’s not the only friend V had. By the end of the game, depending on the way you play, he’s got Victor, Judy, Panam, Misty, Kerry, Johnny, etc. If you wanna consider him his best friend then that’s ok, but he wasn’t the only friend.

They should add the option of playing the game b4 the whole welcome to night city and moving into the apartment. Those cutscenes are an injustice and there should be a story where you get attached to the characters b4 the heist. Should also be put options where it will lead to Jackie or even T bug make it and a whole scenario where Dexter DeShawn will have his own boss battle or a route where he become friend. I want to see what would he do with Evelyn suggesting to betray him. Of course vice versa if you side with Evelyn. Asking alot I know but this was a 10 year game.

The time spent with Jackie is too short to get attached (in my opinion). When we had a fight in the taxi, I didn’t care when he died, it didn’t affect me. On the other hand, the more we spend with Johnny, the more we get attached to him despite his bad temper.^^’
