When ever i hear about the shady crap there doing or get another alert a video was pulled from my channel becasue of XXX rule they just made so a ad maker won’t leave the site i like to take a peak at there profit.
Remember that a quarter is basically a season there complaining about those evil peaople that block ads while making more money than some countries in a year hell there end year profits can fund nasa.

if google was willing to ban all adblock users they wouldve already done so already, meaning we are too valuable for them still. of yeah they want to make you think you watching youtube videos without ads is worth 15$ per month but people in india pay like 3$ so the cost to them must be minim . i am sure as a first worlder my personal data to them is worth atleast 10$ per month so i am waiting for my paycheck google man watching me.

I sometimes check my home profile on chrome for certain things when I’m at work, and when I load it, it doesn’t include the ublock I have on the work profile.
I visit some of the same sites on both and man, I couldn’t imagine the internet as it is without ublock. Seriously, ads are insane.

This is a genuine question. As someone who has Ublock but not specifically for YouTube. Why do people hate the ads there? Is it because they are shown to frequently or intrusive?

If it were just an ad at the beginning of videos I wouldn’t care. But when you get videos with multiple ads that are sprinkled throughout? I’ll take the 5 second black screen before the video loads to not see ads.

The content on YouTube is just not good enough to justify the amount of ads, much less a paid subscription. I’m not paying as much as a subscription to a service that provides high quality narrative productions as well as highly produced documentaries for ad free unboxing videos and car reviews. And like yeah there are some pretty good YouTubers I like watching but like most of them seem to be getting most of their money through sponsorships and off-site subscriptions anyways? Like I don’t feel bad about not paying YouTube.

The “experiencing delays” shit is getting kinda annoying for sure, but I’m sure ublock will have it fixed soon enough. YouTube thinks they’re gonna win this but they won’t.
