also should i only run multi core or run both single core and multi core? and just for me i the scores stay the same or a bit lower the gaming performance will be roughly the smae right?

During your OC venture, did you happen to touch CPU multiplier and set it back? Or disable (I dont know name for Intel OC) the auto OC function while working on it? If so you might have to just reset mobo settings to get the Intel chip OC function back. That’s how my PBO stopped working for my 9800x3d, but am unsure if Intel mobo experiences same thing
B760 can’t go faster but can lower temps and power usage, my i7 14700kf with 4000mhz ddr4 gets about 36-37k in r23 at 230 watts, if you were not already thermal throttled you will not see much change if any
