Are they NEVER going to make a sequel to this? FFTA was not, and they made a second one of that fucking game, so why not make a second FFT and stop just remastering it over and fucking over again.
Or at least, if you’re just going to remaster, update the graphics enough to justify doing ONLY that.

This is gonna be a gem. I know some people want other games remastered, but I’m happy with almost anything they give for FF games
Kinda lame. FFT is one of my favorite games of all time but this re-release is just lazy. Glad some people will get to play it finally but those people should really find alternative ways to experience it for cheaper.
Hey, I know these garbage blurry upscale filters, I used them on NES Emulators in 2002.
How is this a remaster, it looks worse. All they had to do is fix the performance + some gameplay QoL.

As a huge FFT fan, this was a huge letdown. I was hoping for FFT2 when I saw the first couple of seconds.
You can play this on basically any emulator, and the mobile version, redesigned for touchscreen, is great as well.

FFT is leagues above the flashy haircuts and theatrical angst that pass for storytelling in certain FF entries we’re all too familiar with.
As a massive fan of the original, I was expecting more? The graphics look almost exactly the same. I mean I guess voice acting is nice but it doesn’t seem like they’ve done much otherwise?
These graphics style looks horrible to me. Well, not horrible, but not great.
Their official website says it’s on steam, the switch/switch 2, even xbox series s/x. Here’s hoping the exclusivity deal is over

A whole lot of waiting for what is basically an upscale version of a game that you can get on every current existing console. Sure it has an updated UI and voice acting but outside of that…..eh?

Dissapointed. Wished they overhaul the graphic, 2D HD style. And change that walking idle animation 🙁
Was hoping for a bit more of a graphical update TBH but I’d love to see what they do with the additions and changes to the story. Voice acting is a nice add, it basically sounds exactly what I thought it would in my head.
I hope they bring back the Advance/DS Tactics games
Say what you want, but I’m excited for this. Since I lost most of my vision, I haven’t been able to enjoy the story of FFT on emulator, can’t play mobile games, and did not enjoy the FFTA series. The new voiceovers mean I will finally be able to enjoy the storyline again.
