This is a great idea, there are many colors and mixes for weapons that Cal of Duty did not come with, but if they add this feature, I think it will be the most expensive, unfortunately, anyway PUBG has the same system, but in methic suits you can change the color as you like and so on

That and let us imput hex codes to choose specific colors. We can already do it when saving a loadout by putting the hex code between brackets
Example: [660099] for a deep purple or [ffd700] for gold.
I mean you could kind of do that by changing the graphics color settings. People make the orange camos as pink or other colors.
Yeah, I wish they let us customize the crosshair color to, and red dot sight color,
I wish they replace the current camos (sand, splinter, etc) with this system instead.. it can save a good bit of storage. With this system, it’ll be software based coloring and will only need to save one range of color to be applied on any gun via software filter.. With the current system, all the camos are literally individual guns which adds up alot in storage space.
I want them to do this even if the grind is extremely hard, I’m down to grind I just want the ability to customize things in this game especially like the emblems if you remember.
