Wise decision or dumb decision? you be the judge.

  1. I get that this is a meme and everything but neither option is inherently correct or incorrect and it’s 100% based on context. If you have a reasonable disposable income and thoroughly enjoy games there’s nothing wrong with spending $3000 on a hobby. Cyclists and other enthusiasts do it all the time so why can’t PC gamers? It’s more a question of if you’re balancing your income with your expenditures.

I’ll just use it to mine crypto when I’m not using (procedes to never do that)

Someone please explain to me what games are even capable of using this level of power or tech… PC gamers just seem to be obsessed with the hypothetical or the concept of “power”… it won’t make Doom play any better. /shrug

I’ve heard for years and years “this is 10x more powerful than any console” yet it has to be upgraded with insanely expensive parts every 3 years?… to play the same games?… with the constant temperature problems and potential melt downs?…

There… send me all your hate and down vote me into oblivion. I’m content with my PS5 and a laptop I got on clearance with an “old” RTX 3070 a couple years back…

We can survive with minimum food, but we can’t play some games without 4090+
