So many dark clouds forming around this games launch. Interesting to see what version of the narrative is correct.

Always a good sign for your brand new game that is supposed to be a big deal but has received like no marketing at all.

When the execs leave before the game launches, you know it’s either going to be a groundbreaking hit or the new benchmark for glitches.

Looks like the execs decided to bail out before the rocket did!🚀😬

The character kinda looks like the Theon Greyjoy actor, not the usual face for a protagonist in anything really

> stating that during his tenure the company had “doubled” in size, to “over 450 employees”
450 employees, haven’t released a game yet and minds eye seems to have minimal marketing and the previews weren’t really great either… wouldn’t surprise me if we start hearing about layoffs pretty soon.

This is so interesting because every single sign has been pointing to a massive Trainwreck that is coming for this game and its studio. People leaving, reusing assets, shady marketing, strange public narrative and more.
Every single red flag that has been shown to us throughout the years, has been triggered by Mindseye. Something has to be severely wrong with the game to warrant such a response from most gamers.
Though I hope I’m proven wrong lol

Before you lose your collective minds..,CFO – Chief bean counting officer ..this guy most likely had zero to do with developing the game.

Well their marketing sure is shit. I initially thought the game was “build a rocket boy” and “mindseye” was the studio.

I thought a lot of the negative things which have been posted, simply because that is what is most obviousÂ
One thing that hasn’t been mentioned is IO, isn’t this their first publishing gig?
Very poor pr for them, they haven’t promoted, not have they done anything to divert any negative attention the game/developer is garneringÂ

I’ll be extremely surprised if this launches in a good state, and I’ll be a good distance away not spending my money while people figure that out.

I watched the trailer on Xbox last night and was struck(as a friend is really excited for it) how bad it seemed, considering it’s from a gta dev. Graphics look nice but the driving seemed so floaty and it’s just seemed a bit woolly
brigthebrain
I preordered just to see if it shows up and I am low key hoping it’s an underrated gem, the demo sure was fun. Amazon confirmed last night arriving June 10.
