    My setup from 11/2017.
Over 10 000 euros in the electronics in this photo. Spread out quite evenly.
I don’t understand the collecting that many people are into.
There’s endless amounts of money pits in tech. What’s the point in the cabinets full of keyboards or headphones.

I post my setup from 2017 as that’s when my setup peaked.
In 2018 I was diagnosed with schizophrenia and got put on a disability pension.
I still have most of my stuff. Like the all of the audio minus the Genelecs and everything is same with the computer except. Just less periphals

    PC: Built in 2017
    Biostar X370 GT3 AM4
    Ryzen R7 1700
    GTX 1080TI
    16GB G.Skill 3200Mhz

    Screens: 2017 & 2014
    Asus PG348Q 3440x1440p
    AOC Q2770PQU 1440p

Audio: Headphones in 2015. Genelecs in 2016
    Audio-gd Master 11 DAC/PRE/Headphone amp ( ~2200€ )
    Hifiman HE-6 Open back headphones ( ~1300€ )
    Genelec 8030A Studio Monitors ( ~1000€ )

    Periphals: on the keyboard tray
    Logitech G602 mouse
Roccat Ryos MK Mechanical (cherry blacks)
    Rapoo KX wireless KB

    Periphals: in the cabinet
    Oculus Rift CV1
Sennheiser HD598Cs (for watching porn. everyone has 150 euro headphones just for that, right? Didn’t want stains on my 1300€ Hifiman HE-6’s.)
    DiNovo Mini wireless KB
    Logitech G29 wheel + pedals

    Desk: 2017
Ikea Karlby 180cm long kitchen board
    Ikea cabinets
Keyboard tray is kitchen drawer hinges and piece of mdf

Chair is Martela/Logic RH400. It’s actually super expensive chair. Touted as the most ergonomic chair in the world. It’s not trying for a style points.
Jointly developed by several countries. All the ergonomy standards in use in the EU today originate from the research that was done for this chair.
Mine is refurbished from year 2008. But the plastic armrests broke from me leaning in to them. And they are super expensive to replace.

The cubes on the wall are SMT Goldenhorn acoustic diffusers. (diffusers break up soundwaves and the broken up soundwaves then cancel each other out also generally spread the energy)

Behind this setup in the same room on the opposing wall was my speaker setup

    XTZ 100.33 Divine speakers ( 3560 € )
    Arendal Sub 1.5 ( 1200 € )
Yamaha MX-50 Power amplifier from year 1988

Epson TW3200 Full HD projector (from 2012)
Grandview Cyber 92″ entry level screen

Massive bass traps visible behind the speakers.
All first reflection points acoustically treated with absorption. Ceiling and the sides.
Back wall is covered with the diffusers visible in the main picture.

  2. Nice Gelelecs. I hope to get some Genelec SAMs for my desk next year. My Adams are too big.
