Figured it's related since this is the predecessing technical direction for Cyberpunk Orion.

A quick synopsis:

  • Targets 60 frames per second on a standard PS5.
  • Realistic foilage system with nanite rendering.
  • Muscle rendering for animation realism.
  • New reactive animation system like bumping into NPCs and enviromental assets.
  • Responsive NPC system like NPCs helping troubled NPCs or enviromental events.
  • Greater crowd system (getting more closer to the 2018 vision for Cyberpunk 2077).

Notice how these features don't exclusively apply to Witcher IV but may also be present in Cyberpunk Orion (though I don't expect NPCs helping eachother out.)

people actually think a game looking like that will run at 60 fps on a base ps5? get real lol. maybe at 480p

Remember this is a tech demo made just for this showcase.

Keep in mind everybody, this is NOT the actual game. That specific tech demo ran on the PS5 (or so they claimed), they did not show any other gameplay but riding and walking (slowly) through a city. No fights, nor any other taxing thing.

I’m currently pressing the biggest X in the universe on that one.

  6. while this made most people excited for witcher 4 personally it made me excited for the remake of the witcher1 that will use assets from w4

No lod, no pop-up, no stutter or almost, 60fps, with that level of looks, on std ps5, fot the whole game, i call bs, same as their cyberpunk demo.

It’s a tech demo for ue5, you know how that translates in real games….

I am so hyped about this Game like a Child. I really, really hope there is so sweet-baby-shite in there.

Definitely makes me less worried about the game looking “cartoonish” like most other UE games seem to be.

  10. >Muscle rendering for animation realism.
