I’ve been playing always Punk but for now Corpo’s life path seems to be the best if you want sound like a actually legendary boss, knowing everything. Also this Life Path feels like most connected to main “we hate corporations” motive of this game as you have big reason why would you hate them so much: They literally just abandoned you, leaving you barely homeless, only thanks to Jackie you survive & begin new life.

Street kid
SomebodyNobody_67
From my experience I think Corpo gives you the most “RP” like dialogues choices and has a variety of ways to handle some major quest line with Corpo dialogues choices. Also the Corpo life path has you be an executive type for Arasaka, so it kind of adds to V’s vendetta/fight against Arasaka.
I personally prefer the Nomad lifepath, it was the one that I felt personifies me coming into the Cyberpunk Series for the first time (Nomad you start quite literally as a newcomer to Night City).
Honestly, it’s your game and your experiences in the game that should matter to you. Choice the one you think best personifies you.
Ubi-Fanch
I felt that Nomad is the more fitting if you’re new to Night City.
Corpo felt a bit more aligned with the themes of the game to me.
StreetKid is often the fan favourite because of the zero to hero vibe.
Disposable_Minion47
They are 99.9999% the same . Exception being a few choice dialogue lines that MIGHT make certain dialogue/mission resolutions easier…THATS IT
The Lifepaths bore little agency on the narrative overall. I expected the Lifepaths bro have greater consequences overall
HiFiMAN3878
Corpo = Street Kid > Nomad
I like all three options actually, but I think Corpo and Street Kid offer more interesting dialogues, and more of them.
Nomad has kind of a classic RPG beginning where you’re coming from outside the main city and discovering it for the first time. I liked that bit of narration – overall I liked Corpo and Street Kid a bit better though.
Discourtesy-Call
If you’re only looking at conversation options, corpo has the most. Street kid seems to have more options to short circuit quests.
Qalb_exe
I like corpo. More dialogue options and they are at times really badass
TimeForTea007
My opinion is that the order they’re presented in, is the order they’re best played.
Nomads are good for first timers, as you’re new to game and so is your character. By second playthrough, you’re likely familiar with the city and its surface-level players, like a Streetkid. Corpo comes last, as now you’re diving deeper into NC.
grafiti008
Corpo for sure
QueenCobra91
corpo is the strongest
Dobadobadooo
There’s obviously not a huge difference either way, but I have to say I found Corpo to have way more interesting unique dialogue than the other two. Not just in that they can offer more valuable insight into the inner workings of the elite, but also in that their life is way more mysterious than the other two. Neither Streetkid or Nomad have lived very interesting lives prior to the start of the game, but Corpo V has really done some shady shit to get ahead, and has already proven themselves as a capable agent. Thematically I also think Corpo V is much easier to roleplay because they’re an outsider that can also fit in pretty much anywhere.
In terms of rewards I do think Nomad has the most rewarding unique-options though, there are a handful of quests that really only have satisfying conclusions for a Nomad. Streetkid and Corpo don’t really have as many notable unique options that lead to better outcomes, especially the latter.
thehod81
Nomad worked for me the first run as I had my V storm Arasaka with the Aldecados and basically joined up at the end.
Sensitive_Dark_29
Corpo for sure

Corpo. No further commentary
RocketDocRyan
I’ve played all three, and I like Nomad and Corpo the best. Streetkid just never resonated with me the same way. But none of the three are bad, just some resonate more than others for different people. I grew up in the sticks, but I work a fairly corporate job now, so maybe those two feel most natural for a reason.
Terminatorniek
All of them, pick whatever you like, they alk have fun options, take it from me i played them all
deadupnorth
Street was good but this corpo playthrough has been pretty damn good, better for sure but not by miles
shyrain67_
nomad is my favourite path but i genuinely believe that all 3 are great and have excellent dialogue. street kid seems to have a bit more than corpo or nomad though
IronCircle12
Street Kid. Every time.
Nomad beginning is a panic attack.
Corpo beginning is gnarly cyberpunk though.
db2999
Corpo. It has the best reactivity. Best lifepath specfic sidequest (where you can talk Frank into taking the same decisions you did). And if you liked the Edgerunners anime, Corpo V remembers David’s rampage in episode 10 (Nomad and Streetkid were out of town)
Hoodedpanda919
Corpo for dialogue, Nomad for intro and sick jank car, Street kid for flavour
CramerB7
Street kid path is lore central when it comes to NC itself which made me completely fall in love with the whole game world being squashed by the boot of corporate rule. Corpo path makes you the boot then rebelling against the boot knowing the inner workings of corps. Nomad path exposes you to make your own choices and values, your own freedom before being stomped on. As important as it is to know the corpo life, street kid is the normal civilian life, just people trying to make a living and willing to push their values aside for a glimmer of hope that will inevitably be their demise by the corporations. IMO Street kid puts much needed background of the norm that makes the story and V so much more important as V pushes the absolute boundaries to make a name for themself.
(Sorry for the ramble.)
Low_Turnover_5756
Nomad story wise for male V is the way to go for me. I’ve played through all 3 of the life paths but Nomad is amazing. Especially with the Panam ending; it’s like finding a new family after v separated from his nomad group.
GenXer1977
Depends on whether you are brand new to the game or not. Corpo gives you the most story. It’s the only one that gives you an inside look at what being a corpo is like. But Nomad gives you options to ask clarifying questions about Night City, and if you’re brand new to the game, that might ultimately give you more story the first time around.
RobMo_sculptor
I prefer Nomad > Corpo > Street Kid.
BeggarOfPardons
I always love Nomad. It was the one I chose on my playthrough. Recently getting to kinda like corpo too.
Grexedor
Personally corpo felt like the best starting path. at release people clowned on it or mocked it for having the shortest start but for me it felt more connected to the world
oldcampos
Street Kid has been my favorite, followed by Corpo. But all three are good honestly
Janek_Rated_R
The Nomad one is great for a first playthrough because then V is exacactly who the player is – a stranger who comes to Night City for the first time in their life.
But to me the best one overall is the Streetkid, I prefer it to Corpo. I feel like it should be a story about a nobody who started from nothing and wanted to become a somebody, and Corpo V is already quite high on the corporate ladder. I know he falls right to the bottom but it doesn’t seem that someone who persued a career in a corporation would want to become a mercinary. The vibes of V being a Corpo rat and then a merc don’t really fit very well for me. But that’s just my opinion.
MuMuGorgeus
Does not make a difference!
I never got over the release of this game and the week I first played it, it wasn’t the bugs, it was the fact I was expecting this game to be much more complex than The Witcher 3 in terms of choices, story, and freedom, it’s the opposite.
It’s a huge disappointment, and I thought that after the prologue I would get to choose from the 3 possibilities (rogue, goro, voodoo boys) to remove the chip, what a fool I was, there are no multiple paths to take, just one path.
dinowitissues
Streetkid. Always felt like what the game was built around ngl. Corpo is a super good second tho.
Cool_Finance_6128
For me I enjoy nomad the best
Mediadors
I really like Corpo because it feels more personal. You come from the very environment that you fight against, and V can navigate the corporate world which gives him an interesting character note.
DeadGirlLydia
I always play corpo. The others just feel *off* to me. Like, they way they introduce Jackie is weird to me–especially Streetkid.
In Corpo V prologue, he is your friend from the start and saves your life.
In Streetkid, he was about to jack the car you were after (I think) and then you both get arrested but NOT and suddenly you’re friends(?).
In Nomad, he confesses to planning on ripping you off but he has a change of heart and somehow that makes you best friends(?).
Corpo V is the most organic (pun not intended) story.
coltvahn
I went Street Kid first route. Felt good. But then I tried Corpo, and it just…yeah, it fit the best re: feeling connected to the themes and overall narrative. Helped that we were already friends with Jackie before the events of the game, which weirdly none of the other paths had. I like to think of it as the “Street Kid made Good forced into being a Legend” path.
Subject_Proof_6282
Corpo V has the most unique dialogues in the game, both during the main mission, side content & gigs and Phantom Liberty combined.
Phantom Liberty is also very well tailored for corpo V, a former Arasaka agent/spy being entangled into a spy thriller storyline involving the president and her laps dogs.
readytogohomenow
Corpo gives the most dialogue options/insight for Night City. But I find Nomad is fitting if you want to do an Aldecaldos ending/just really like spending your time out of the city.
Street Kid still has my favorite Jackie intro though.
