It helps me remember back to the time when the creators of the game created a game and not a store.

A time when very seldom were you killed by someone who was cheating.

A game that brought fun as opposed to sadness, frustration, bugs and in game transactions.

I don't think COD will ever make it back to this point. Those days are long gone. Back in those days, we were afraid to have our CD keys banned. Ideas from 23 years ago were more effective……..

  3. I love this game and still remember every map. But cheater werent that rare… We had dedicated Server with admins and votekick. Punkbuster was worse then Ricochet

  4. When they did the 20th Anniversary video of the cod franchise. They didnt feature a single clip from this or united offensive.

    The disrespect was real.

  5. I used to go to a lan house when I was a kid, specially around 2002 to 2006.

When arriving, if my mates werent there playing Counter Strike, I would either play this COD alone or NFSU2.

That’s where I got my start. I’m sure I’ve got my copy somewhere in a box in the basement still.

Love how every CoD cover of the era gave big “you’re shooting in the wrong direction” energy
