For most of my characters I design a "Street" fit and a "Gig" fit that I'll swap between, even going somewhere private to change (or semi private depending on the character). I find it really immersive but also helps explore the character and make more well informed character choices depending on if I'm being me or a "professional" whatever that means to the character. Does anyone else do something like this in there playthoughs?

No way! I love doing this! Definitely adds to immersion.
Also what is this about?

i add date night to the mix and corpo style as well 😀
oh oh and dont forget the slut one too 😀
I also have party outfit for Kerry missions and nomad outfit for deserts
Yes. I always swap outfits to go with whatever I’m doing, and I like to match them to vehicles and weapons as well. I will often spend unholy amounts of time in front of the mirror before a Gig just getting ready. Playing with Barbies is half the fun.
I’ve got multi fits, depending on gig type. got a tacticool, a stealth set up, a “corp” set up, street kid esque and a straight up Cyberpunk one. I’ll post at some point if I remember
I do, I have Street, Tactical and Fancy versions of the same style outfits,
Different clothes for different situations. I do similar in games like Ghost Recon Wildlands/Breakpoint where I’ll have a main, then environment specific clothing load outs.
This is the way
Every fixer gets a different gig-fit. Then there’s fancy occasion-fit. Casual-occasion fit for every district I’m in. Party-fit. General professional-fit. And a few more mood-fits depending on how I feel.
I also have pajamas/homey outfit I always change to when I put V to sleep
Absolutely! I have multiple outfits ready to go depending on what I think the dress code would be for the quest.
And my V is all about stealth so she dresses like Sterling Archer in his black turtleneck for infiltration gigs.
I do the same lol! It just adds to the immersion when you “look” the part.
I make use of the outfit system so much, a common nomad outfit, a gig outfit, a stealth outfit, a nice suit outfit, a club outfit, they did such a good job with the clothing and armor in this game.
I use all 6 slots for different outfits
1. Elegant charming smooth talking V
2. Metrosexual girly looking male V
3. Solo soldier V
4. Rough rider V
5. Samurai fan V
6. Millionaire cowboy V
I have 3 styles I always do merc, soldier, fancy deadly. Merc it’s like the casual wear for most of my time. Soldier is all that military gear you can get. Fancy Deadly is most white and gold wear. Even have my weapons go with these outfits “should I wear these high tops with this tech 9 or these low tops with the uzi.🤘😉🖤
I don’t. Couldn’t give less of a fuck about something as irrelevant as that
I switch between fits depending on the gig and also have several outfits for just cruising around on Jackies Arch and chilling to some radio tunes.
I have a male nomad V and I have a casual outfit (Vs tshirt and jeans), Nomad V, Motorcycle/streetwear V, Samurai/Johnny V and V in a suit (which I used for the missions for the Politican missions etc).
Good idea actually. Love the first char
Im always making different looks, I love the fashion in this game.
I had day to day wear, mercenary gig, formal, semi formal business, and sleep presets
I used to do it as well, but I eventually grew tired of doing it since we can’t actually see our outfits in action. So now, I only design outfits for fun, and switch depending on my mood (or if there’s a place I want to take pictures at with a specific outfit in mind). The immersion doesn’t work for me, but I absolutely love spending time making cool outfits.
I wish the pieces of clothing actually had a set “code” to them that would actively affect our interactions with the NPCs, or even our missions. Like, if we have to peacefully infiltrate a fancy club, then being underdressed/in street clothing would result in enemies being a lot more aware of our presence (since we’d stand out). Or if we wear an outfit with clothes stolen from a gang hideout, then the enemies of said gang could mistake us for being a part of them and attack us randomly in the streets. Etc etc.. I do not know if it’s *actually* doable, but I personally feel like it would add an extra layer of immersion to the gameplay, and be very fun.
