With the recent Star Wars bundle on Steam that includes 3 Aspyr remaster and this non-remastered game it might be getting one. Aspyr seems to be doing a few Star Wars remaster lately.

I think you mean remake, it did receive a “remaster” but it was made by Aspyr and I believe it was only released on consoles

I loved Republic Commando when I was a kid, but having played in it modern day…some reworks would be appreciated

I was kinda disappointed with Republic Commando tbh and didn’t catch the hype about it, and I enjoyed even older SW games even in comparison to many modern games. I guess it was only good for hardcore fans back to its days and it didn’t age well: short and ended abruptly, dumb AI that prefer dying over being useful, tactics and placement are very limited, missions are kinda bland and repetitive except the introduction.
