
i think they should mostly all be in the reliable A tier. because an entire category of gun being trash and unused is just a waste of gun design.
They should have the fastest and most reliable armor break at close range, being able to break armor from a hip fire inside 6m. with a reliable hip fire down inside the same distance from a second shot.
This makes them a strong pick for quick advantage but not a faster TTK than top tier smg which can crack and down before the second shot of the shotgun.
the clip size would make them the best picks for multiple opponents within close range where the smg clip size struggles.
the reliable hip fire makes them good for people who struggle with aim. and the reliable 2-shot down makes them good for players skilled enough to weave in cover and mobility between shots.

Well, tbh i hate shotguns, BUT if top tier smg has faster ttk, whats the point of shotguns? Alot of people hits every shot anyways, so an SMG would be better + better range.
My problem is, that shotguns are crazy random, sometimes you break someone in like 10meters+ and then someone is in your face and he dont even break for w.e reason. I know how shotguns work, but it feels so bad sometimes.
Shotguns should be able to oneshot on close close range (i know i would hate it aswell, but thats the only reason someone would play it).
