    Mine still serves. This Palit Game Rock I got was so good that I didn’t even need to repaste.

    Temps are abt 72C 100% usage with 25C ambient.

    Still have my gigabyte 1080ti Windforce in the original box, upgraded to the 4080 on launch back in 2022.

    The 1080ti was such a beast, I’m sad I cannot use it for my current resolution I need, which is 4K 120 on an LG C3 42”. But I’ll never sell it, it’s forever immortalized

    When my GPUs are obselte they get moved to my home lab to keep serving for compute tasks e.g using cuda for hardware acceleration in jellyfin and Plex .

    If NVIDIAs Linux drivers weren’t a pile of garbage it would be great to be able to buy an NVIDIA card then when I upgrade reuse it to train AI models , hardware transcoding etc .

    I still use a Quadro p1000 and am going to setup a GTX 1060 with proxmox soon

    Lot of people I know say zotac are shit but I’ve never had a bad experience with them, only good ones. I do like your idea of framing your 1080 though.

    Rip to a legend. My 1080ti died last week. Just picked up a 5070ti to replace it. Thinking about doing something similar with my 1080ti.
