I am writing a fiction set in the Cyberpunk 2077 timeline and my character has these kind of modified legs. English is not my first language so I was wondering what you would describe them as?

Full prosthetic replacement from the knees down, ending in a knife like point

During a roleplay I had a character (my beloved Polina) with these types of legs, I just straight up called them battle legs and my rp partner got what I meant

If it were me, I would think up a make and model. “A pair of Dynalar Ballerinas with a peeling metallic wrap job” or something like that

It’s a lower extremity prostatic. The knee down to the ankle is called “the lower leg” or “crus.” I would call it Militech Crusfoot Blades or make up something like that. Then maybe go into their description, cost so it stays in the reader’s mind.

the “oops I fell” legs, brought to you by Arasaka’s skunkwork prosthetic team.

What are the actual purpose of them anyway? The only thing I can think of for how they can be useful is dropping kicking people with them. Why would someone choose this over a normal leg prosthetic?

Considering that it’s Cyberpunk, I feel like they would probably be referred to by most individuals mainly by slang or maybe product name, rather than a more technical descriptor. So here are a few ideas with that in mind:

    “Skates”

    “Tech Pegs”

    “Stilletos”

or maybe if for a product type name, “Stylettos”

“Blade Runners” (maybe a little bit on the nose…)

“Jackknees” or “Switch legs” for knife puns

Or even just “Ouchy feet” for someone who’s on a serious high and not quite with it
