I just finished the game for the 2nd time and was reminded of how compelling and otherworldly this "walking sim" gets.
The payoff at the end with Lou, the characters and how it all comes together made for one of the most impactful endings I've ever played.
It's up there with RDR2, Shadow of the Colossus & FFXV, imo. I teared up for Arthur Morgan and I teared up for Lou.
If they still look this good in 2025 I cannot wait to see what Kojima cooked up for Death Stranding 2.
Time to get the platinum one more time before Death Stranding 2 drops. Never wanted to double platinum any other game before.

Visuals yes, but that sequence on the beach where you just run around doing nothing and Amelie talks at you was pretty awful IMO.

I think it’s objectively stupid to not release and make DStranding 2 for PC as well as PS.

A very pretty walking simulator with the silliest story.
I love Kojima and his games. Metal Gear is a series so, so close to my heart.
I fell asleep during the ending sequence of Death Stranding 😕 Woke up during the credits.

this scene is BEAUTIFUL … that hug, in the edge of the end of the World, i play games since 1990, and havent saw something so impactiful
DS visuals are top-tier. Can’t wait for the sequel.
