>player in a multiplayer video game who deliberately annoys, disrupts, or trolls others in ways that are not part of the intended gameplay. Griefing is often accomplished by killing players for sheer fun, destroying player-built structures, or stealing items
In this mode’s case it IS the intended gameplay.

I mean, bad design choices can still fit into the definition or intended scheme of a game. The original Grief was fun and I played it a lot with friends, which is not a popular take, but the new Grief is a lot more annoying. Originally you could stab other players but there was no constant stabbing every second. And you couldn’t just chase a player and stab them repeatedly almost like locking on and lunging towards them. Every action against the enemy team had risks. In new Grief it looks a lot easier to cause disruption without taking nearly as big a risk.
Not every intentional design is good. If something is labeled a certain way, like being about griefing other players, that doesn’t mean it is impossible to criticize the way the mode is balanced.

Ppl going through grief may gave grievances.
Grievance- an official statement of a complaint over something believed to be wrong or unfair.

I get that meleeing with kali sticks is a bit too fast and easy to spam, but the dudes who post clips are just submissive victims lmao. Like punch him back or climb a wall or do something. Everyone just turns around shooting or keeps trying to run away

I really wonder how people like OP are able to live their day to day lives with logic as horrible as this.
