While playing grief today I came across a team. This team while we were trying to “grief” each other would constantly use gobble gums. but not just any, ultra gums. Every time you would down an enemy you would see a phoenix up or near death experience. It seemed like it was never ending. After about an hour of them constantly using gums my teammates left seeing there was no way to beat these guys I stayed. 2 hours go by and there is still no end to these ultra gums. They admit they have hundreds of them to me after some banter. One of them glitches out the map they join the with nowhere but there, but they didn’t figure I had the map to myself now. Long story short after 3 hours I beat them. They were arrogant and persistent.
My issue with these gums is guys like these can buy dozens of them and just use them to stay alive making grief pay to win. I would guess nearly 30 of each ultra gums from each person at least plus phoenix ups in between in 1 game

During the challenges since they were out the map it would draw out. I couldn’t do much by myself but that helped me a lot

Exactly the reason gums should be banned.

Just waste as many as you can, eventually they will run out in a match

I dont have a problem with it. If you suck that much at zombies that you need to use gobblegums to beat me, then good for you I guess. I only play solo zombies so its really funny seeing how weirdly toxic people get. Last night I played against a team of level 1000s with the sweatiest calling cards/loadouts. Spammed ultras and won every zone. My team still won the game and they spammed my(and my friends) in game whispers for like an hour afterwards. Like do people really get that upset at zombies? Do people not have lives?

2,45hrs is just Insanity for a match of grief. Will probably take treyarch one month until they ban more legendaries and ultras so people have enough time to abuse them and buy more

This is 100% the only reason Treyarch brought back Grief. Everything you just complained about is by design.

If you want my advice, just don’t interact or acknowledge gum abusers and they will move onto a different game. Don’t give them the reactions that fuel them. Who cares about the stats/leaderboard they get, we all know how they got there. Eventually they will realize it’s not worth it and move on.

And if private matches ever come out for BO6 Grief, the community can restrict things as needed just like we did with customs in BO2 grief. I highly doubt they ever implement a feature to let us play without gums available.

Imo, currently BO6 is just a glorified gacha game, which is why I was avoiding it like the plague before Grief was announced to return.

A lot of money for a single game win?….
