The ONLY options here that aren’t gigantic assholes are the Mox or maaaaybe the Valentinos.

The Mox, probably. They seem pretty standup, though they’ve got some issues that are getting worse.

If I woke up in the Cyberpunk universe and got to pick, probably Aldecaldos. Good people, Travel, they got guns, netrunners, and I don’t have to worry about being double crossed or backstabbed (most of the time).
Old Moxes or Aldecaldos if we are talking the options provided
But if we are talking ALL Nightcity gangs, I’d probably The Julliard Preformer’s Guild, Back Alley Brawlers, Chrome Angels, Steel Dragon (Tho this is actually a Tokyo Gang), Or the Zoners,
in short probably a ‘guardian gang’ or possibly a ‘self-defense gang’
If there was a Multiplayer based Cyberpunk game where you can create and customize your own characters in the different gangs, I honestly would go for the Tyger Claws as first choice then Valentinos as second on basis of just style.
I like the style of the wraiths (even if the members are Horrible), but i’d pick either the aldecaldos or the mox
the mox because, despite having problems of their own, they’re probably the best actual gang of night city, also i like their style
the aldecaldos because they’re pretty decent people, actually give a shit about each other, and probably do sick shit like rally races out in the badlands

Mox. But to be honest they all bad in someway shape or form. But not as bad as the corps.

Depends on where and how I start.
VDBs are good if you’re Haitian/of Haitian descent, otherwise they probably won’t even let you in.
Moxxes are given very preferential treatment in the story in terms of seemingly not having a shitty side like all other gangs, but they’re also focused on the sex work branch and I wouldn’t be doing that.
Valentinos are alright I guess. You can be one of the good ones.
Aldecaldos are an easy pick.
Maelstrom is a big “Maybe”. Some of them seem to just want to be punks with lots of chrome, and I can vibe with that (though their eye style kind of puts me off)

Yes, Barghest are shitty but at least they have a solid structure and usually have a pretty safe job provided you’re not on the main gates.

I’d pick the Tiger Claws personally. Don’t love them, but they’ve got a great corner with Kabuki and Japantown. They generally seem to have it together gig to gig, and only on a few occasions have I been like “these fucking guys again??”

Ideal for retired ex-military, thrown out ex corporate security officers and civilian militia.
Protecting the neighborhoods from scum, military corporates and anyone who is hostile against the civilian population. Friendly with Nomads with good business ties with them.
Just doing some weapon smuggling, extortion and good old robbery from the corporations.
No drug selling, no sex slaves, no human or organ trade.
Just good old business.
Always reliable and cool patriots who love the fatherland.
Nice gang to hang around with them.

When it comes down to it….id want to survive. Voodoo boys would be a strong pick if they’d actually let me in. Moxes are cool, but they’re gonna get fucked up eventually. Aldecaldos could maybe keep me alive. It really depends what most of the gangs are gonna make me do. Like if I’ve gotta hurt innocent people no matter what, maybe just go with maelstrom, cuz people do seem to be afraid of them.

Aldecaldos, Moxx, or Valentinos.
Aldis travels around a lot, is in the outskirts, more emphasis on family and less likely to be shot in the back. You can make mistakes and aren’t going to be shot for it like some typical gang banger shit.
Moxx seem pretty stand up, like they actually are protecting people while doing whatever extra stuff on the side. Every gangs got bad stuff but they seem like they have the most in the way of giving back or helping someone who would need it.
Valentinos are a gang that actually has rules, and yea while there are moments of being pieces of shit, again there’s that bit where people do have your back and there is in some patches of it that are like family. Plus even though he left, Jackie was in the Valentinos, so they get a couple of bonus points on name alone.
Again they all do bad shit in one way or another, that’s why it’s gang shit, so I don’t pretend like they are on some mighty moral high ground of GOOD, but as far as the gangs go these are the most upstanding in my opinion.
Ya gotta do what ya gotta do choom, we’re all morally see sawing.
Mox or Aldecaldo, I have no doubt beyond which of the two to choose.

Aldecados, because they seem relatively chill and cool compared to everyone else. Probably the most healthy and normal in some ways.
