The valorant community is a mix of people that were frustrated with cs and people that play/played league. Of course its one of the worst gaming communities out there
Well, Valorant maps have been 90% trash so…
Back when I played Valorant, the main thing I hated about the maps were the gimmicks that I assume riot wants. The only one I thought added to the fun was ziplines. All those teleports and door closing things really annoyed me. It’s safe to say that even though I hated the maps, I only sent a few death threats because it’s not that big of a deal.
I wish people were more like me when reacting to maps they hate.
CS2 players are more racist and sexist but overall less unhinged. VALORANT has way less sexism but my god are they unhinged.

But also to be fair, I feel like CS map makers are less publicly known than any valorant map maker. They arevusually pretty active and apart from the big name map makers who have been around for years (like FMPONE), I have no clue who made which map. Also CS maps (the ones that really matter) are sll curated by Valve and Valve takes most of the blame when a bad map is added or bad changes are made. While Valorant, even though also curated by the game makers, more likely to introduce a map instantly rather than over time like Valve where they only sub in/sub out maps that have been around for a long time.
All i’m saying is that there hasn’t really been an opportunity for people to send individual developers death threats and i’m sure that if we really tried, we, as counter strike players could overtake the Valorant Community!

Being honest, the maps are pretty shit though.
That’s why Valve doesn’t reveal which artist worked on a map. You’ll never know who made the new Inferno, new Train, or Ancient because there will always be toxic primates who harass map makers to cover for their own skill issues.

CS players are happy to get any update. Any update in Valo, like league, is bound to nerf someone’s favorite or buff someone’s least favorite agents. Every riot game has the same problem where people go after the individuals on the balance team or character design team constantly.
