Last season? Not a single crash. Smooth gameplay, zero issues.
This season? Crashes almost every damn match.
DirectX Error: 0x887A0006 – unrecoverable.
I’ve tried everything:
• Clean GPU driver install (DDU)
• Forced DirectX 11 (-d3d11)
• Shader cache wipe
• Verified game files
• No overclock
• Temps fine
Nothing works.
The game is unplayable now, and I’m honestly just done trying to fix what used to work perfectly.
If Activision’s going to keep breaking it with updates, they better start fixing things too.

try deleting your user file from “Documents > Call Of Duty” , helped me. You’ll just need to reset some of the settings again
