I like the version with the “cover” on the silencer. I think the other version just has too much….. red I guess? Not sure exactly what it is, but I definitely like the version in the first picture. Nice job! And the purple portion of the wear pattern is what I would REALLY want 😀

I definitely dig what you’re going for, but I don’t think the effect on the silencer is right, it throws me off. It looks somehow both translucent and not? And the normal map looks kinda busted? idk it just looks like cheap glass instead of a gem.
I dig the idea though, with a bit of improvement I think it could be awesome
