Fuck remakes and remasters I want them to use the mainline CnC IP for something: A near future, dark, post apocalyptic cyberpunk universe ravaged by climate change and resource wars.
It’s got mechas, mutants, stealth, cyborgs, lasers, the kitchen sink, rail guns, the ai uprising, jumppacks, and subterranean assault vehicles — that’s all before the aliens show up. Even with all that in the story line, it’s generally a heavy, serious franchise, not the clown fiesta of red alert.
How is there NOT a battlefield/halo/franchise around this?
Because EA are twats – that’s why.
