They could’ve avoided a lot of bad press by just calling it 9060, but AMD is a master of fumbles, wcyd…

    > However, demanding titles such as Indiana Jones and the Great Circle are already pushing VRAM requirements hard, with the RTX 5060 unable to cope with this game above the Medium graphics preset, even at 1080p, simply because it doesn’t have enough memory.

Maybe the games are also at fault. If you give the developers more RAM or storage, they’ll use it.

this sub has a creepy obsession with that rambling dork from gamersnexus

They definitely shouldn’t have the same name, but there is no issue with an 8 gb card. If it is priced correctly.

5 years ago I wouldn’t have thought that in a gpu battle I’ll actually take the side of Intel of all companies ffs

Same as always, crappy QC but praises all over the internet “it works fine for me”, said the 10% of users

AMD isn’t even doing nvidia minus $50 this time. They’re just copying nvidia straight up. RTX 5060 for $299, RX 9060 XT 8gb for $299. This is just bad.

AMD sees nVidia making money and copying their notes. The problem is, they’re copying the notes for a different exam.

2 years ago.. AMD made fun of NVIDIA for having 8GB VRAM. fast foward to now, AMD say 8GB is enough lol.

I mean they basically are just saying there are tons of people playing 4:3 stretches CS2 and the likes for purely competitive purposes where you genuinely don’t need even 4GB of VRAM. So why should the minimum be 16GB if a gamer can get an 8GB card for cheaper and be fine in e sports titles at 1080p (or less)

It’s one card out of an entire lineup. If you want more than 8GB for a brand new single player game or to play 1440p or 2160p, then just do that. Kind of an overreaction to the quotation
