  1. Here is a concept. Launch a game that isn’t dogshit for 18 months before it’s worth playing.

  2. Choice-Suspect-808

What’s the point of this announcement when it won’t be out for another 5 years at minimum.

  3. Primus_is_OK_I_guess

Wow, from 2077 to 2! That’s going to be quite a shift in setting.

  4. Just replaying 2077 on my new PC. what a master piece!

  5. I hope we are getting more freedom for character development this time. And I wish they make the open world more interactive. Night City was pretty, but unfortunately, it was little more than a static backdrop. Well, guess I find out in ten years or so.

If you want a point of comparison, Cyberpunk 2077 entered pre-production somewhere around summer 2016.

  7. GingerPinoy

These Gonks are gonna release this in 2030 aren’t they?

  8. Aggravating-Dot132

For those who don’t understand, it means they have NOT started the development. It’s just concept designs and stuff like “which city to do, who are the main characters” and so on. No engine, no coding

  9. You’re going to launch a functioning, feature complete game this time, right? You learned from last time, right?

  10. oiAmazedYou

see this in late 2030 at the earliest. 2031 i bet

  11. UnsorryCanadian

Leak development screenshots already so I can complain about the state of a pre-alpha game like what happened with GTA6

  12. Old_Second7802

Couldn’t get into the first game so I hope they fix the issues with story telling and engagement for the next title.

  13. Horneck-Zocker

So are they developing 2 games at once now? Cyberpunk 2 and witcher 4?

  14. aggressivewrapp

Cool when the game releases its still in pre production phase until a year or two later when they realize their game was broken at launch😂😂😂

  15. iamJeremyKane

I have 2 tracks for the ost, what studio makes cyberpunk again? Would love feedback (they’re complextro – brostep) 🤔

  16. The average gaming computer can’t even push the 1st one very well

  17. Let’s just hope they leave pre-production phase before release.

  18. Awesome, loved Cyberpunk 2077, hope this one will be just as great.

  19. Dirka-Dirka

So what does that make us?

    Completely unrelated.

  20. charface1

Post-pre-pre-production is a magical moment for any game.

  21. SpezLovesElon

I hope it doesn’t launch in a broken mess again.

  22. timblunts

Cool. I can’t wait til 5 years after it comes out when they have a fully working version

  23. TrollOfGod

Add a couple of years or so on the release date to know when it’ll be polished enough to run (reasonably) well on something other than a $5000 build.

  24. propdynamic

Haven’t even played the first one yet. Never could get through the intro for some reason and get invested in the game.
