Grew up 40 minutes away from Morro Bay and listened to New Rock 107.3 (SLO County radio) for a decade until it shut down in 2016. Just started playing Cyberpunk for the first time this past week (fucking amazing game) and I had no idea that the setting is loosely based around our area. I started messing around with the radio stations and caught 107.3 and thought maybe it was too much of a coincidence. just tripping out at this game’s attention to detail if someone at CDPR indeed knew about this.

Seriously though, due to the lower range of FM radio, many stations share the same frequency since they’re far enough away from each other to not cause interference.
In Tampa you get 107.3, The Eagle, playing mostly classic rock
