Hello Dudewithbeard3805, and thank you for your submission to Gaming PC! If you are new please check out our rules over at the wiki [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/gamingpc/wiki/rules)!
We have recently added the useful feature of Title Flair! You can set this manually by clicking Flair under your post once you have submitted your post, but if you missed it in the rules there is a much better way that will automatically flair your post!

To do this simply add what your post is about in brackets before your title. For example for a Build Log you can type [Build Log] before your post so that it looks like this; [Build Log]My new awesome build!, and the bot will automatically set your flair to Build Log! This works for Build Log, Build Showcase, News, Hardware News, Hardware Release, Discussion, and Miscellaneous!

Also remember that this is a place for discussing and sharing our love of Gaming Computers! This is NOT the place for help building or determining what parts you should buy, that is better suited for /r/buildapc. Troubleshooting questions should be directed to /r/techsupport. Thank you again!

  2. I just went with a very similar build but found a 5070ti for around the same price so went with that instead. Also went with an AIO. Love it

Spend a little more and get an AIO. They look better too.

  4. do you really need 64gb of ram ? Also use [pcpartpicker.com](http://pcpartpicker.com) you might be able to get some of the components cheaper if are willing to buy from different merchants. Your choice of mATX mb suggests to me you this is going to be a compact desktop. So when you get a case, just make sure it can support the gpu length 🙂

    edit: grammar

I would get a smaller 2nd M.2 drive, if that mobo will take it. Use the smaller drive as your boot drive and for things like your browsers of choice and other programs that don’t take up loads of space.
Store games and media on the larger 2nd drive. For me this seems to help with my boot timers and game load times

You’re going to want a more powerful power supply, 850w minimum, likely want to be water cooled for that cpu too.

I would do a more than 750w. with what you are running I would shoot for 1000w. would help the system and good for future. plus more stable. Looks like an amazing build though. just a thought on the power supply.

Looks pretty solid, I’d go for an 850w PSU though and for the minimal price difference I’d definitely get an AIO instead of an air cooler.

  9. I just built something very similar, and I went with a 1000w psu to make sure I have enough headroom. 850w minimum.

Also, for those saying the 9800X3D needs an AIO, it really depends on the case you intent to use. I went with a Thermalright Phantom Spirit EVO in an Antec Flux case, and my CPU barely hits 75C under full load with a mild overclock, and that’s without having the fans run full blast. The Thermalright towers can do the job.
