Steal the Arasaka Smart gun and it tears that thing down fast.

Honestly I’d say so, though it heavily depends on your build. My Berserk LMG build only took one attempt to beat it, but my stealth netrunner took well over a dozen, and both of those were on very hard difficulty.

nah smasher is brutal for a net runner
MadDevloper
At some point, there are no hard bosses in Cyberpunk 2077. Build doesn’t matter.
wallcrawlingspidey
I’ve recently finished my second playthrough and I’d say so. If I wasn’t better equipped this time, I’d say it’d have still tied with Oda but luckily I was this time. Both are annoying tho
Mr_Eddy
the fight with all the enemies before somi takes control of it for the first time is the hardest fight in the game. fighting the chimera itself isn’t that hard .
Lorguis
I genuinely hate this boss fight, it seems so cool, but I was playing stealth/pistols/netrunning, so being shoved into an unstealthable bossfight that’s explicitly resistant to netrunning and is just a big DPS check sucks ass. It took probably a dozen attempts, most of those involving getting every speck of cover destroyed before I could kill it. I eventually just turned the difficulty way down, walked through it, and turned it back up, because it was fucking miserable.
partfortynine
Harder than smasher for sure

The hardest boss in cyberpunk is V
SmilingVamp
I think it depends on what you’re built for. I rolled the thing like it owed me money on my assault rifle sandy build a couple days ago, even had fun jumping on it. But on my stealth sniper types, it’s a ton of cardio just to stay alive.
TaxOrnery9501
Very annoying for pure stealth builds in the sense that there’s literally no way to stealth the encounter
Otherwise-Top-6719
The hardest boss is sneaking past the robot on one of the dlc endings.
VanaVisera
Kurt Hansen and Sasquatch were the only bosses in the entire game that gave me any trouble.
deadupnorth
Hell yeah it is. Only fucking thing I had to do more than twice. By ALOT😂😭
Fission-Chips
Oda was far more tedious
ImSoCul
I personally found Matilda wayyyy harder. Took me like 30 tries
Picassos_Enemy
It’s arguably the most fun, wouldn’t say it’s that hard.
Conroadster
If you’re a melee build it’s the hardest fight for sure
alelan
Once you figure out exactly which angles he spots you from and the triggers that cause it to arrive, it becomes very easy.
pichael289
Sasquatch is probably the hardest imo, if you do the fight early on and you’ve only got netrunning then it’s gonna be impossible. That’s probably why there are so many methods to make it easier or just totally sneak past her.
FlameOfUdun9
The robot you need to stealth around in PL gave me the most trouble.
Xyx0rz
I found its little Cerberus brother *waaay* more problematic.
BruIllidan
In all 5 playthrough my V died against Chimera only once, mostly by accident. For me it was one of the easiest boss fight.
Smasher also wasn’t very challenging.
Sasquatch was brutal though. Managed to kill her fairly only twice. One time my V got through by stealth, two times she bugged and was unable to move, allowing to shoot/quickhack her for ~5 minutes non stop.
rye_domaine
The hardest boss is the room right before the Chimera fight where you get ambushed by BARGHEST. Trying to do that section on Very Hard running a stealth build with 0 investment in Body is… interesting
bentleybasher
Razor wire is the hardest boss.
prawduhgee
It sucked for my stealth netrunner. My heavy solo didn’t have too much trouble though.
BathroomOrangutan
The boss that has given me the most trouble so far is the spetznaz guy from one of the Phantom Liberty gigs.
Hdorsett_case
The bosses really aren’t hard in this game per se but rather they just take a long ass time to kill
Cascading_Failstates
Now that I’ve played the PL endings I want to experience, I just ghost Songbird after first contact and let her die mad about it. Only way I made it nearly through last time was to turn off all dialogue. Still quit that playthrough on chimera fight.
Foreign-Story-9870
Only fight I nearly died with was that animal boss with the voodoo boys

There is a harder boss.. later.
