Im wanting to get the best bang for my buck around the 1500$ price range. I was going to pull the trigger on the HP omen 35L because I currently have a HP omen from like 2017 that still gets the job done. I came across this CLX which isn’t much more & seems to have much better specs but I also don’t know much about what I’m looking at. I’m curious if anyone knows about the CLX brand? Or if anyone has any recommendation. I’m looking to buy from best buy because I have a card for there that will give me no interest. Thanks

Hello WelcomeDazzling2822, and thank you for your submission to Gaming PC! If you are new please check out our rules over at the wiki [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/gamingpc/wiki/rules)!
We have recently added the useful feature of Title Flair! You can set this manually by clicking Flair under your post once you have submitted your post, but if you missed it in the rules there is a much better way that will automatically flair your post!

To do this simply add what your post is about in brackets before your title. For example for a Build Log you can type [Build Log] before your post so that it looks like this; [Build Log]My new awesome build!, and the bot will automatically set your flair to Build Log! This works for Build Log, Build Showcase, News, Hardware News, Hardware Release, Discussion, and Miscellaneous!

Also remember that this is a place for discussing and sharing our love of Gaming Computers! This is NOT the place for help building or determining what parts you should buy, that is better suited for /r/buildapc. Troubleshooting questions should be directed to /r/techsupport. Thank you again!

To be honest I would not go for either of these PC’s, the CLX pc is almost $700 over priced, using very slow RAM, and 14th gen intel CPU’s can have reliability issues. As for the omen pc it is using a 8000 series Ryzen cpu which are known to have worse performance do to the reduced L3 cache and the GPU has 8GB of vram.

Here are some key features that I would look for at your budget.
    CPU: AMD(Ryzen 7000/9000 series), Intel(Core Ultra series)
    RAM(DDR5 6000>mhz)
GPU(Memory > 8GB if you plan to game at higher than medium settings in the latest games)

Clx has interesting designs and cool looks. They are extremely overpriced.
