Did I miss something? Why is it popular all of a sudden?
I redownloaded it yesterday, fun flying around as a jump trooper.
Was Battlefront (2015) also a third person shooter? I played a little bit of it back then and thought I remembered it as an FPS so I was surprised when I downloaded Battlefront 2 last night to find it’s in third person.
Maybe Disney will do something with the IP now.

Downloaded this on PC Xbox game pass yesterday because of the high player count, and I could not find a single 40 player game. Several thousand people still playing the last hour when I checked steam charts.
I found a 12 player game, does no one play 40 player?
I won’t bother to download after the hype is gone, the same 3 people will continue playing

The Finals has the same player count and is the incredible game that a lot of people left DICE to make. Its my favorite shooter

I used to enjoy playing it, but aren’t hackers still an issue? Last time I hopped in I got into a lobby where a guy was able to just insta kill the entire team. Decided it was time to retire.

playing this again made me remember why I stopped. no crossplay, bots, horrible spawn system, and uber try hards who stay a hero/villain the whole game. lol I’m out

Thats cool. Got it at launch and honestly stopped playing after a month or 2. Can’t bring myself to buy it again.

All they they had to do was not fuck up micro-transactions and not put pay to win crap in the game and this could have actually benefited the people that created the game…
Also just want to say the game has a pretty good campaign, definitely give it a go if you haven’t already
