If you got the monitor 8 years ago, a total of about a quarter of a billion seconds have passed, meaning you’ve lost out on 15 million potential frames.

Edit: Sorry, didn’t realise this was a serious post. My bad.
Smh everyone knows your eyes can’t see more than 59.934hz… 🤦
keno_inside
If you had been using 59.994Hz instead of 59.934Hz since 2017, you’d have gotten around 15.9 million extra frames by now.
That’s like an extra 3 days worth of frames over the years.
No wonder it feels smoother!

Joking aside
it’s worth paying attention to as some games can get FPS they think the screen is running at off by a small fraction and this can cause a really subtle and weird micro stutter which is particularly noticeable on OLED screens.

Just like discovering there’s a right ctrl key.

Once you change it to 59.994 Hz, you can never go back to 59.934 Hz

It might not seem like a lot, but if you put that on the light spectrum, that’s a big difference

Are you telling me you never noticed the 0.066 Hz difference with true 60 Hz? tsk tsk tsk…

I’m sure there’s someone here that can see the difference in 0.06 fps.
Once you play at 59.994 you just can’t go back to 59.934
