I get doing it when it’s on as a heat source but just because?

Bro, you’re talking about a cat. Literally, everything is “just because” lol.

cats like warm spots they also like high vantage points .. the pc is a high vantage point that is also often warm.. the cat knows this and will tend to go on top of it.

Not just about heat, a high vantage point to survey his kingdom is also highly prized.

Tell me the CPU radiator is in the front please…

A rear exhaust fan would be great to see with the top ones on intake but better not… just the rear one as outtake to get rid of hot air… that gpu is a bit of a furnace

One of the reasons its there because you use it a lot, cats like the stuff you use most

It’s not a good idea to keep your cat on the PC even though it looks cute. You’re just asking for tons of damage is there’s one mistake.

the top of a pc tower doubles as a loaf pan

I made a post on here of my baby girl doing the same thing but in front of my monitor last month, 1.7 million views, she’s now passed away.

    Enjoy it bro.

Well…. What are you waiting for? Turn it on already

My cat (which ironically looks much like that one) does it too, sits on PC whether it is on or off, but especially on. Cats seem to have short lists of favorite spots to sit, and tend to just default to those spots, even if there is more cozy and logical sitting spots.

They tend to regularly rotate them too. For mine it’s the windowsill this month, next month I bet it’s back to the PC or maybe the table.

Is the cat giving you a “Are you gonna turn my my belly warmer on??” look?

It’s waiting for the heat to turn on

Turn it on, now!!! She/he seems to say, in a very commanding voice!

It’s also because cats are very social things it knows you play and do stuff there a lot so it hangs out there also

It’s a firm, flat space. Cats love that shit. I find mine lying on a hardcover book, magazine, or similar material wherever I leave it.

This is not incongruent with “If I fits I sits” feline ideology

We are all creatures of habit, cat’s too. I raised my cat in this hoody I wore for basically the entire winter that year, so her first 4-5 months. It’s been 5 years and she jumps on me whenever I wear it (it’s been retired mostly) and rubs her face all over like it’s made of catnip for 10minutes before insisting she have a nap on me.

Unfortunately, your PC is Shape. Cats recognize every instance of Shape as an owned object.

He’s doing that for the love of the game.

Your cat looks just like our first boy who passed away recently after 15 years. He was found in the bushes in front of our yard as a kitten, cat distribution system left him there. RIP to the best pest exterminator in the street.

The car knows a good pc case when it sees one, therefore wants to touch it.
