    You have this!

Everyone is here if you don’t….well, almost everyone.

    Looking at you PCMASTERACE idiot!!!!

  2. Ok_Courage1035

Dun dun dun! Good luck! I hope it all works!

Open the motherboard ram cpu and get started! leave the rest for now. youll feel the energy to keep going when those are set in place

Don’t worry, it’s just like falling off a bike!

  6. Fun_Possible7533

Because it takes focus and a few things can go wrong. With that said, even though you know what to do, watching videos, seeing others do it, eases the anxiety. I think it’s mental.

The sooner you get started, the sooner you’ll finish and be able peel the plastic off the glass.

You can dm me for questions, ive built 3 machines for myself and like 3 for clients. Granted the clients were close friends, i can offer help if it makes you feel more confident getting started. I also work in IT though its not a pre-requisited for building a pc.

    Best of luck!!!

Best of luck and hopefully Corsair has made their RGB more reliable since 2019.

You have adhd and the journey is more important than the end 🤣 just start!

  11. I wouldn’t be able to wait. Parts are there, what’re you waiting for?

I’m pretty nervous for my first build coming up soon as well. Mainly with the case I chose, the be quiet! dark base pro 901. I needed 4 usb ports at the front like my old rig so I had to get an adapter to get them working with my motherboard. Props to the case for being to slide out the motherboard tray part instead of try and mount it all inside the case.

When I did mine a few weeks ago I had the same issue… I think it’s that once you start you gotta finish and once you finish, it’s over.

I get similar feelings when I make a super complicated meal… I finish making it and I don’t wanna eat it because then it’s all over.

  14. Nice to see all black components. I know they’re not rare to see but i’ve seen too many all white builds lately so this is nice to see. Other people have probably already said this but just start with the motherboard first. I also recommend to watch a tutorial but you probably already are. Hope to see the completed build on my feed soon 🙂 .

I always assemble the computer outside of the case on top of the motherboard box turn it on to see if it starts by jumping the power prawns .. this way you know if you have a faulty components ,it’s rare but happens

It’s not as nearly daunting as it looks, I promise (no one tell him about the cables). I built my first a week ago with 0 help and like 7 yt videos. It’s actually pretty enjoyable

  17. Necessary-Scratch889

Take your time I’m here if need any help

  18. Flashy-Finance3096

I want this case looks really visually appealing

You’re nervous because of the risk of breaking something. Just relaxing, remember to build it safely, remember to regularly discharge static, and watch a real time guide if you don’t know exactly what to do. You’ll be fine

  20. Sitheral

I had it all there for a while too. I wasn’t nervous, just taking the time to enjoy it, never build a pc before.

Turns out it was as easy as LEGO. But I had a brief “fuck” moment inserting CPU into the slot.

  21. SushiBump

    Enjoy the process.

Because I promise you that having a built pc is nowhere near as fun as the process of building it.

  22. Crafty_Message_4733

Don’t get too nervous you’ll drip sweat on the motherboard! Source: I have done so before…..

  23. blazerMFT

This case is really nice and easy to build in. This was the first case I built my own rig in actually, after years of buying prebuilts and letting other people build for me.

Have a go at it, a tip is cable management is very easy as you can tuck cables into the clips at either sides of the back, and remember to fold/connect the 24 pin cable before screwing in the bottom tray, makes life so much easier.

  24. helptron

It looks like a really nice build. Just enjoy the process 😄

  25. SorryIreddit

Building a PC is nerve wracking for me too. I do ridiculous research and game plan in my head before every build. 3:3 so far on solo builds. It’s pretty fun.

You got this! Can’t wait to see it finished

  26. WickedJester42o

Make sure u take the plastic off the waterblock, it seems like a no brainer to remove it. But on my replacement aio I forgot. I did notice before I powered it on atleast but yah.

  27. GlorifiedBurito

Just take your time and look up some videos when you don’t know what to do. It’ll take a while but it’s really satisfying once you get going.

  28. K1LLoLoGY

Cuz of the cost but have fun and enjoy. U got this, I believe!

  29. Weedfried

Because you have an AMD Graphic Card ? XD

  30. Zoo_Rats

Take your time, and grab someone who has built before if possible. I have built a few hundred builds in my time, no one is good at first, you learn as you go, sometimes the hard way.

Also…feel free to DM if you get stuck.

  31. Merecat-litters

What I will do is to update the bios first…my last assusy b660m came with outdated bios.

Because it’s thousands of dollars and a few mistakes could totally destroy parts – haha true but just giving you a hard time.

-try not to generate static electricity while working
    – have clean hands and positive you hands to not touch the gold parts on components
    – be careful seating equipment like processor (easy to damage pins if trying to force, it should fall into place as long as processor matches motherboard
    – make sure you have you fans going the right directions for proper airflow.
-for GPU if it has multiple slots for power have 2 separate cables.
-before putting on GPU/ cooler, try to get all your cables hooked to motherboard as it will be harder with those in the way
    – if it doesn’t turn on, check power button switch on power supply and trace power and make sure all parts are hooked up

Just take your time – tons of videos going step by step – and enjoy 🙂

  33. IDontGetMuchSleep

The only annoying part for me is always the power button connectors 😓can never seem to get them right the first try

  34. pobox1663

I was going to go for that tower too, but ended up with the 7000D instead cos i got a bargain price. You’re nervous cos you think it wont start and you’ll have to atart over again xD itll start first time though, just take lottttts of time with your cable management and you’ll be fine. Just a quick heads up the 7900xtx doesn’t perform as cool vertical, but if it gets plenty airflow through it you should be fine. Let us know how that routing through the ceiling goes.
