Is this game still being updated? I haven’t heard about it in quite some time, but played a good bit when it initially released.

I remember buying this game for like $4 on the store ages ago lol. It was worth way more than that.. truly a beautiful game to explore, they did good on the environments. The PvP zone is utter ass tho

  3. Grimnirsdelts

This is one of those games that just feels good

Holy shit that is amazing. Been waiting to play this after I played d1

Did they ever change the insane bullet sponge enemies at higher levels?

I really enjoyed the game but shooting nonstop at one enemy for 5 mins isn’t fun.

  6. Recently got back into D2, its pretty dang fun. That said, the post game level 40 build stuff is still so confusing to me.

I bought this on PS5 a couple months ago for something to play with my new PS portal. It’s a decent game but having an active clan helps. Can get a bit lonely by yourself. Also some aspects are way too grindy (like unlocking stats and specialisations for weapons etc).

No cross plateform saves ? Not playing from the start.

I’m a bigger fan of 1 over 2. I own both on PSN.

I like how exotic gear on 1 can be equipped freely for build options whereas on 2 you’re only allowed 1 weapon and 1 piece of armor at a time. Also some story bosses drop gear (like the body piece but forgot the lady and the name of it).

One has far more farmable bosses outside the DZ (Dark Zone) on a rotation every 2 hours.

The story of 1 actually has a realistic touch. The phone calls and messages also add to the realism.

Tom Clancy was alive during some of the first game to help with certain areas. You can tell with how certain parts of the game play out.

Now here’s where 2 is better than 1:

No *Russian Consulate*. I can’t be the only one who hates the beginning of this mission. The end isn’t so bad against the mega boss >!Hornet!<.

More build options for setups especially with the signature and special weapons.

DZ locations are split so the kids and trolls won’t find you as often as the first game with the cheaters. Also having the turrets to take out the NPCs and Rogue Agents is a good touch.

The Snitch is a good addition to the game itself.

The Power plant is a good location to farm gear and equipment. Same with The Summit.

This game is excellent, an all time classic of the genre and among the best environments ever put into a game.

    The soundtrack is also peak.

I love this game. I played through it a few times just solo and doing the story.

Looks great. Good story. Good gunplay.

  12. I always assumed this was online only? Is that not the case? There’s a single player game mode?

All the slop Ubisoft makes and they could have been making Division 3 this whole time….

I know a new one is in the works but it’s basically drawing board stages still, when right now the market is ripe for a good PvE/PvP looter game.

remember, money spent on games like these go directly into making games like AC: Shadows

The only game in my library that I have sunk +1000h in. Did the story and dlc story solo and then joined a clan to do the raids, because you can only succeed these missions with a group that works together and that assigns rolls to each player.

I’m no longer in a clan, but it’s the only game that I once in a while start again to do some solo missions. I never get really bored of it. And in my case that’s special, because normally I just quit a game after completing the main story.

The only other game that’s up that high in my list is Black Flag. That’s the only game that I played twice and did 100% completion.

  16. I really loved the worldbuilding for The Division, the PvP scavenge zones were super cool, but repetitive and didn’t really do anything interesting besides the extraction mechanic, never touched The Division 2

division 2 needs crossplay. this should’ve been a thing already.

Still a great looter shooter game to play with friends, the PvE is very fun and solid gameplay and plenty of varied loadouts builds you can swap to anytime.

Just don’t try the PvP Dark Zone. It’s been full of expert gankers who do nothing but hunt for people with maxed out gear for literally years now.

I really enjoyed this one until you finally clear the map and then….

    >!it just fucking resets and you have to clear the whole thing again!!<

There is a lot (ethical and unethical) I would do for The Division 3.

Have the specified which region, games vary country to country. No mention of it on Australian game pass.

  22. Kageromero

As much as I’m enjoying watching Ubisoft burn, I want a division 3 so badly 😭 It’s already one of the prettiest games out there, imagine it with modern tech and Ray tracing 😍

So my friends and I got this game on sale way back in 2019 after coming back from a camping trip. I’m not sure if we stepped through a portal in the mountains or this was one of those “art imitates life” moments because we know what happened later that year… Campaign was fun until the IRL DLC got installed.
