I’d be hoping that all of these would get disabled so that it could be fair and fun like in BO2, considering that with them, it would be way to easy and time-consuming, a single Grief match could last for probably longer than 5 hours!
Maybe the idea of everyone having the same set of gobblegums/field upgrades etc or none at all.
But I’m definitely very interested on how is that going to play out.
EDIT: Just seen the [trailer](https://youtu.be/I65a4O5U_5k), I don’t think we would actually fight each other, probably stuff like “which team scores the most” or sth. I reckon it will be A LOT different than Grief we knew before. Killstreaks obviously enabled, loadouts very likely too.

-Played on Liberty Falls and Shattered Veil
-Mimics are coming to Liberty Falls (likely only in Grief)
-There’s now “Grief Zones” that you have to hold
-Eddie/SAM are the teams and have new voicelines

I think it fit BO2 well.
But I solo play zombies now, so this isn’t for me.
I’m just disappointed there’s no map. So il be skipping this season.

So, what will Grief involve this time? Cause I specifically remember playing Grief in Town on BO2, where there’s lava all over the ground, and so you’d have to inevitably jump over and occasionally take environmental damage, and shooting the other team can stun them, without damage, but the damage then comes from environmental + zombies catching up to you. That was one of my favorite features that really made games hard sometimes. Pisses people off, but that’s literally the point of griefing. And the mode is called Grief. I’d like to see ways that teams can be pitted against each other. Gobblegums will be OP in this, especially ones where zombies ignore you and go for others.

Grief needs to be overhauled adopting a new style of gameplay, which rewards strategic gameplay and fun. Applying gameplay modifers giving the mode a unique new twist, by incorporating elements of competitive restrictions for other teams. Competitive gobblegums tailored to undermine other players, including new special power drops aggravating the zombie hordes towards another team. Teams could get temporary buffs during the match, with the ability to neutralize their functioning loadouts taking their upgraded weapons.

I like zombies because I can play solo and pause and not have to care about other players on the map. Big skip for me. S04 in full is a dud for me. Oh well, I have other games to play.

Bringing back grief in one of the worst zombies modes in my opinion is not very exciting. If they had fixed zombies and brought back the classic formula and got rid of the nonense the cold war-black ops 6 era added like the weapon rarities, salvage, armor packs, scorestreaks, create a class, etc then I would gladly welcome grief back. Grief won’t be nearly as fun.
