saw this in the GTA subreddit and thought it would be fun to share here.

Personally, the Johnny flashbacks give me so much cringe that I truly can't stand both parts of the game which include them.

Also, bds are annoying to me 😭 hate the first mission where everything is almost unskipable

The BD sequences with judy. So tedious.

  2. Wonderful-Coyote-714

The part where you meet Evelyn and Judy for the first time and have to go through that boring sequence.

    Anything with BD.
Such a tedious detective puzzle solving minigame

  4. 0ttoChriek

The BD sequences and the River missions. Those forced cutesy scenes with his family make my teeth itch.

I know the common answer is gonna be BD’s

But I’m gonna say the minute and I mean MINUTE. I get that ONE phone call from Judy telling me to rush to her apartment.

That’s when I know I’m “done” with her.

What I mean is, when I first played the game I was fully invested in the Judy and the Mox storyline. But after a while it starts to lose its luster and I just end up ignoring her after she gave me the information I needed

I use it as lore for my Corpo V, she’s so use to using people that this is literally just another Tuesday for her

  6. I love judy but any of the BD’s are annoying asf.

I might get flamed for this, but anything to do with the Aldecaldos lmao

I just find Panam very “meh” so her whole questline loses the partner aspect, and the whole time I thought the Aldecaldos were some loser tier bottom of the barrel Nomads, don’t think I would of helped them at all if it wasn’t for Panam. Just feels very boring like lets get this over with and bomb the entire whatever gang you’re fighting with, they’re so pitifully easy even on very hard it makes me wonder how the fuck they survive if THAT was a big issue for them

The entirety of act 1 tbh. It was fun the first few playthroughs though

Base game – the unskippable segment after V gets shot (both while V is experiencing Johnny’s memories and while V recovers at his apartment). Also the unnecessarily long sex scene between Johnny and Alt that can’t be skipped.

PL – the boss fight against Boris and the whole stealth section of the Sniper Segment during You Know My Name (and guiding Myers to the hideout while remaining undetected + the parkour segment of the start of PL).

Hot take perhaps, but all the Aldecaldo missions were really boring to me. Tons of cutscenes or non-skippable content that I really didn’t care about (turrets, drone scouting, etc.). Also didn’t romance her, so my Panam-tinted glasses were not on

The ending part of phantom liberty of you side with reed and have to hide from the robot spider thing. I’m not one for jump scares. I like the heavy exposition cutscenes and BDs because I get deep into the lore

I liked the BDs the first time though as it felt like a cool gameplay mechanic. Then, my second play, I realized they are basically unskippable cutscenes as you don’t really do anything. You look at a colour and match it with another colour while not being able to see anything clearly.

The BD Scenes and the Sinnerman Quest. I played that Quest once in my first playthrough and decided after it: never again.

The whole prologue tbh. It’s an awesome story don’t get me wrong, but after your 10th play through you kinda just wanna skip it.

Glitching back into Konpeki Plaza because I forgot to get the iguana egg again

Dealing with Fingers. That guy makes me want to go take an IRL shower, and zeroing him somehow doesn’t make it better (like zeroing Woodman does).

And also the part right after the heist when you’re crawling through the trash in the dump. I like that CDPR gives you some button pressing to do to break up some of the cutscenes that otherwise you’d just have to watch, but the dump sequence is just too much. X to move the broken TV. X to move the box. Yawn.

Silverhand flashbacks are pretty bad, tons of jump cuts. Getting an early taste of malorian makes it almost worth it

  18. Evil_Eukaryote

The only one is the Johnny/Alt sex scene. Something about being forced to watch sex makes me uncomfortable.

The brain dances. They’re repetitive as hell with nothing new since I always scanned everything first time for 100% completion. I wish you could just skip them, they’re the worst part of the game if you’re replaying.

Also the part in the beginning where you have to let Jackie drive. Like damn man put some hustle in it I wanna sleep at home!

  20. DarthDregan

When you have to let the Graybeards scream at you for like forty seconds.

burning desire and catalina missions in San Andreas

Edit: Territories at the end of the game to unlock the final mission

  22. Dreadlord97

The VDB quests. It’s just so boring and so obviously set up that I honestly just zone out for the two hours I play it and then turn my brain back on when Songbird calls me.

  23. Meeting Placide

Running away from the robots in PL

Having to click through stupid Grimes concert w/out thinking about what a PoS welfare queen elongated muskrat is

    Johnny’s endless flashbacks

Meeting whatsherface in the blackwall to whine about how you’re dying

There really is a lot of skippable story telling in this game…

  24. Thisisgotham

I don’t like Judy’s mission rescuing Evelyn from the scavs. Just too grimy. And pretty much anything to do with River. Why does he want to drive me around so much in his shitty truck?

  25. grovestreet4life

Johnny flashbacks and especially the Alt sex scene. I just tab out

I fucking hate these low effort karma farming posts. Bot ass.
