I know it’s probably a Last of Us spinoff game, but I’d LOVE to see Naughty Dog go back to Jak and Daxter, even if it’s just a small project.

I love this new trend of slowly working on multiple games at once so we don’t get any new games for basically an entire console generation. Keep it up.
Hopefully they are making a new Last of Us side story using all the tools they spend years and resources developing for part 2. That’s what they should be making at least.
This is what studios like this should be doing while they work on new projects and IPs.
Bring in a second team, have someone write a cool story with your money making franchise, set it in Louisiana or idk Italy or whatever… it does’t have to be a hack job, you can come up with new enemies and weapons and mechanics, and even a whole new vibe, but keep the scope in check and use the resources you already have at your disposal…
Combat/animations/physics in Last of Us 2 are very good and it took a lot to get there… it shouldn’t just all be for one game.
(But is probably just Last of Us Turbo PS5 Pro Remastered).
Watch them make yet another last of us game instead of making a remake of the uncharted trilogy

Every time I see info like this, I imagine its a prequel to TLOU. Imagine a game (or a pair of games) where it takes place at the beginning of the outbreak.
I want to see what Joel and Tommy were doing for the 20 YEAR gap between Sarah dying and Joel meeting Ellie. I want to know some of the horrors they faced as the outbreak unfolded and society actively started dying around them. Let’s see the brea down of the world. And they can call it:

Naughty dog is garbage now. All the people who made our favorite games don’t work there anymore. Same with most other game studios
ND has kinda fallen off. Cancelling their TLOU MP was the final straw for me. Listening to BUNGIE of all people tell you to rethink a game is the dumbest possible move to make. Bungie the plagiarist art thieves.
