World of Warcraft has had collector’s editions from the beginning in 2004. It came with a mouse pad, art book, muc, etc! It was amazing!
Now? Collectible/Deluxe editions are nothing but Transmogs and digital items… it really is sad

It’s even more infuriating when the base game is $89.99 and the digital premium ultra collector megazord edition is $179 Maple bucks. Waited almost a year for Outlaws to drop in price and I’m still not sure if it’s a decent game or not.

The gaming community has cash to burn and they collectively will spend it on cosmetic updates. I never understood the appeal but I’m in the minority apparently.

What’s the problem though? The normal game is available at a normal price, but you can pay extra to support the devs and get a few cool extra things. You don’t have to buy anything more than the normal game.
