Careful OP, with this kind of part saving reassembly, you may be offered a job at Boeing.
I am under the conviction that any device with 5 or more screws has 4 redundant ones, so you are very much ok with taking out one of the spares.
Nothing like specific screws for specific parts of the laptop and each screw is custom to that specific laptop i too have done this and am like hey its together/solid no way i am going to try to find the specific hole it belongs too.
I heard that spare parts are a sign that you made it better!

Haha, I had a similar situation with my old laptop. I took it apart many times, but the last time I had a small screw and… a washer?.. I looked inside for a long time, trying to figure out where they came from, but in the end I put it back together as is 🤣
Masterclass in weight reduction. If anything, your just making it faster and cool better by removing useless pieces of metal that would just hold more heat.
