How hot is the room?

An average 24″ IPS office-style monitor running at 60Hz draws around 18W at a normal brightness level. I only counted about half the room and got 27 monitors so lets double that and say there’s 54 monitors in there – that’s pulling around 972W, which is less than a single space heater on medium or high setting.
There’s something to be said about ewaste generation but if you meant electricity when you mentioned wasting resources this isn’t really all that bad.

I mean good if you need that much data at a glance in real time but the layout is what triggers me.
Way more wasteful and inefficient than screen count. Build a nice rail system on the wall so you don’t need your head on a swivel I feel is worth its weight…
Dang, for a minute there it looked like the trend pages we have at work, same exact color scheme and layouts and everything. We have a bunch of screens that look just like that in our control room at the mineral processing plant where I work. I even have several monitors in my office with a few pages that are always up so I can monitor certain processes and small hiccups before they cascade into larger issues. I always want more screens to have more information at a glance and not have to stop every few minutes and switch to another tab. So if stocks are like that, then I get it. If I could have this many I would.

I think I had someone like this in my college dorm, but it was Sun Technologies CRT monitors. He had about 12 of them in a circle in his dorm room xD He gave me one of his monitors that was on the way out. It was 1200p and my laptop could barely power it xD
