We’re right now running under the assumption that Janus Towers might be our last zombies map, or mainline zombies map until the release of BO7. With this, there’s been a lot of build up as to what this map will bring and I’m curious as to how you guys think this will wrap up?

My idea is all based on current rumors of BO7, so take this all with a grain of salt.

I believe that SAM (and whoever is likely influencing everything) is going to win in the long run. I don’t think this is too much of a shocker, considering MWZ dances with the idea that the dark aether crew is gone.

However, a month or two ago there were two rumors running about BO7 zombies, one was that the maps were gonna be a lot wackier and disconnect from the current aesthetic. The second was that we’d see the return of the OG crew but in a new way, with the word multiverse being thrown around.

I think that once S.A.M. or whoever taps into the power of the sentinel artifact and (presumably the dark aether). Weaver and the others are gone, but our new Richtofen will fall back into the cycle of being tormented by somebody named SAM, tossing him around the world to places filled with zombies, while having to deal with three stereotypes he doesn’t even know.

Idk I’m just waiting for it to come out to find out.

Similarly to Die Mascine from Cold War. It helps to keep your expectations low.

Probably defeat the Sam ai and then whoever Panos is working for (assuming it’s not the sam AI) traps our current crew in the dark aether and the next map takes place entirely in the dark aether where we have to fight the entity Panos is working for and we die in the process of trapped in the dark aether.

I dk about story but I just hope it’s not only in the towers or fighting some dumb inanimate object like tomb 😅… I feel like they’ve been watching modded bo3 with the tower maps and thought yeah why not, I hope I’m wrong though.

And I hope they stick to the shatter veil level of special zombies not the liberty or terminus spam.

(Fog rolling in) The crew and Richtofen defeat S.A.M and Richtofen is about to get shot by Weaver until the old Primus and Ultimus crews appear. Carver then says, “Who are you, some kind of Call of Duty Black Ops 6?” [Game ends, credits roll]

I’ll be disappointed if all the chaos teases go nowhere. In my dream world they activate the Sentinel Artifact and Scarlett zaps to our timeline. But I know that won’t happen. I’ll be let down if the artifact is just an instrument to reboot yet again. Feels like the story never goes anywhere lately. Hell I miss Ava from MWZ. She at least had stuff going on.

I like the idea of the map ending with a giant aether explosion and then the cutscene is just our crew waking up and finding themselves trapped in the dark aether

assuming the rumors for BO7 and another map after Janus Towers are true, the multiverse will be recreated and will once again branch out into several different timelines. In the “main” timeline JT will be the climax and the “true” ending to the story, which involves SAM’s victory, richtofen’s death, and the eventual death of our crew which then leads to the events of MWZ. The next map will take place in an alternate timeline where the crew and Richtofen survive, and serve as some sort of epilogue and segue into the events of BO7 which, in some way, will also explain how Primis manages to come back

Why would this be the last map? Presumably there will be 5 or 6 seasons, and I’d assume season 5 will have a zombies map also. I won’t be surprised if season 6 doesn’t though. There usually is overlap between season 6 being out and the next COD being out so I’d assume we’ll have one last one in season 5 as they wouldn’t want to release another one in season 6 right as BO7 is coming out.

Not just story wise but gameplay and map wise I think it’ll be a much closer comparison to buried over die rise. People see the towers and assume it’ll be die rise inspired, but I have a small feeling for some reason that it’s not. If the recent teaser from Treyarch is not grief and it is implying two main quests that gives it the same conclusion (pick one of two sides) that buried had and the actual map may be under the towers for the most part. And then if we do get a surprise DLC 5 it could potentially be more akin story wise to Origins with a multiversal reboot of sorts where one of the endings is canon and it isn’t 100% clear what we’re dealing with until bo7

The favorite egg head became the dark avagadro and initiated a chaos trial in SOHO Liberty Falls, which is the last map and we have to fight the S.A.M. controlled Mecha blightfather with magma abilities.

Ava is S.A.M ai. The ending of Janus towers will show how ava was conceived as it will be around same time period late 92′ for her to be her age in mw3. I believe Grey makes a deal wit S.A.M. ai to save the real Samantha’s body and sacrifices her body and egg for the s.a.m. ai. That’s why in MWZ the vision ava sees are the S.a.m. ai. Sentient thoughts and visions bleeding through. Ava is the Host body. The entity refers to her as. “SISTER” . which if it’s samatha and s.a.m. is a clone with a body now. The clones will technically be identical sisters…
