Why does it actually matter in the end? Are there really scores of people who are going to buy these so quickly they won’t get to see any actual reviews and benchmarks first?
Probably because their driver right now is currently shit, and will most likely black screen in any other game

they were doing the same thing for the 4060 launch, a lot of bullshit benchmark with cyberpunk with rtx on and dlss set to balanced at 1080p ….

Nvidia will continue it scummy behaviour until it hits their bottom lines. Unfortunately, no matter how good AMD cards becomes, AMD does not have the scale of Nvidia to outsell them. Especially with system integrators like dell, hp, CyberPower etc.

NVIDIA has lost its mind
This tells us that RDNA 4 and Battlemage’s answers to this thing thrashed the 5060 good and hard.
No journalist with any integrity would have published this “preview,” which has no purpose other than as a propaganda piece from NVIDIA.
All reviews should be a simple “don’t buy it” 10 seconds long video.
NVIDIA is trying hard to make less people notice how abysmal the whole Blackwell lineup by doing stunts like this.
In other semi-related news, I knew something was up also once TomsHardware removed anything older than the immediate predecessor gen of GPUs in their tier list. Usually when the current gen is released, their tier list goes all the back to the last 3-4 gens. I guess it makes the abysmal improvement of Blackwell too obvious…..

The GeForce RTX 5060 is 13% slower.
