They’re not wrong they genuinely had plans to shutdown codm if wzm succeeded. It was slowly killing BR already, we didn’t get any BR maps for two years, the ground loot system got downgraded, and BR was just stagnating in general because of that game. And now that it’s dead we got krai and some major updates next season with potentially even more content and changes coming to BR.

“why is everyone in denial” is fucking great. The only statement that even mentioned Codm going away was via Microsoft during a EU merger hearing iirc. Idk why so many people wish for the end of one thing or another for what? So their side “wins”.

It was the lunch days of wzm
Now they need to implement all the movement animations from modern call of duty games and the game will be perfect.
Oh, how the turntables!
Now Activision may actually be putting more focus back to CoDM and finally they’ll start to cook. Depends if it’s shit or tasty. We’ll see.
Right here. Microsoft had plans to ‘phase out’ CODM in favour of WZM if it had a successful launch( [Source, go to page 25](https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/media/64088cf9d3bf7f25f61ff804/Microsoft.Activision_-_Response_to_Remedies_Notice_-_NCV__2_.pdf)) but fortunately that didn’t happen.
