kudos. might be your best decision ever.

An actual office chair is amazing for gaming. I’ve had mine 10+ years… the butt foam is still supportive and comfortable. Only the mesh back has *finally* stretch to a point where i might need to consider a fix or upgrade.

  3. Looking for an upgrade too, however I don’t have like 600$ sitting around, any recommendations?

Dude standing desk are the best or traditional asian style sitting desk

Random question, but sort of related. Is there such a thing as a gaming recliner? Like a La-z-boy, but for PC gamers. I want one of those.

Let us know if its still comfortable after a week. As i’m in need of a chair replacement as my current one hurts after a while.

  7. MaybeD0M

Think that’s going to be my next chair

I wish I could remember who said this, but it stuck with me:

Gaming chairs are made to be flashy and sell for a lot of money. They are not built for comfort.

Office chairs are the backbone of white-collar capitalism. They have to be as absolutely as comfortable as possible, even when cheap, as employers need workers focusing on work as much as possible, not complaining about a bad back.

[Is that this cheap $100 chair from Walmart](https://www.walmart.com/ip/Coolhut-Ergonomic-Office-Chair-High-Back-Mesh-Desk-Chair-with-Lumbar-Support-and-Adjustable-headrest-300lbs-White/3573751372)?

When the bottom padding of the chair deteriorates into nothingness in the next couple years, spend a bit more on a better office chair. The issue with most chairs is often people buy a style for cheap rather than spending money on a good chair, and end up hating that style because they had a shitty chair. 90% of time time when people hate on “gaming” chairs, it’s because they bought something cheap on Amazon rather than spending $600 on a quality model.

“Gaming Chair” lmao that’s a funny one.

Do you really need the second backrest?

Generally speaking, it’s unnecessary since it _could_ provide too much pressure on your spine, but since we’re all different, maybe it works perfectly for you!

I swear I built this chair for my GF recently. Did you have that annoying bit trying to line the back up with the armrests? Also the screws stripped the threads. Nightmare but managed in the end

Very nice chair. A few years ago I bought a $100 office chair from Walmart and it’s far more comfortable than any gaming chair I’ve ever sat on.

A year ago I started a new job from home. I spent like 300€ on a new chair. A really good office one. Best decision ever

Depends on the manufacturer of the gaming chair. I bought a local made one and it’s the most comfortable chair I’ve ever sat on and I’ve previously sat on office chairs.

Herman Miller, any model really. I found an insane deal and paid $90 for mine 10 years ago. Still going strong. Gaming chairs are not for me.

This is the exact chair my girlfriend uses, it’s pretty comfortable 🙂

I found a decently used chair at an office liquidation warehouse, you can get nice name brands for like 70-80% off. I don’t know if you have any around your location, but it’s worth a look.

I have one that is very similar, but I hate the headrest. It always ends up too low. There is something to be said for a one piece backrest.

  19. krellx6

I got the one without the headrest and couple months ago and the reclining thing started grinding after a week and the seat noticeably wore down too. At first it was fine but it went downhill quickly.

I returned it for this and it is worlds better if you can swing the extra cost in case that shits the bed like mine did.

Brand, model, price range? My chairs rough and that looks so nice

Edit: scratch that I seen your other comment

  21. Claymoresama

Nice. I just ordered an ergonomic office chair on Amazon. I’m hoping it’s more comfortable than the awful one I’ve been using for 4 years.

  22. 8BitCoreMechanics

    Gaming chairs are just marketing

  23. I have a similar chair in design, but not quite the same model. The pivoting arm rests are great if you are a guitar player. 🙂

  24. HotShotGG1018

That’s looks nice. How much is it?

  25. BootyLoveSenpai

Guess i need some suggestions on a gaming chair, i need something economical

  26. Nice! I ditched my gaming chair and got one the same model as yours, and back/shoulder pain has improved a lot since then

  27. joe2105

Yep, chairs made to sit in all day blow gaming chairs out of the water. I have a simple Steelcase and it’s the best decision I’ve made.

  28. Had a similar one, sadly broke in 6 months. Went back to my old gaming chair which is going strong for 10 years now…

  29. sirfannypack

I don’t like chairs that don’t let you adjust your arm rest.

  30. IcedIcons

Just got this chair for work, it’s very uncomfortable and was creaking and squeaking right out of the box, I’d stay away from this one and buy another chair…

  31. -Suzuka-

I have a crappy $50-100 chair for 5+ years, after switching to a high-end ergonomic chair I will never go back. It is a great and very comfortable investment.

  32. ZarephHD

Unfortunately, Herman Miller knockoffs like these really aren’t built to the same standard. Hence why they’re so suspiciously cheap. Not to say that HM chairs aren’t overpriced as fak, because they are.
