Doesn't have to be a modern one. Actually my favourite one is a really old Zalman CNPS9500. Just look at it. They don't make them like this anymore. Zalman had some weird looking coolers I don't think they ever did anything normal.
so comically large it’s oddly satisfying seeing the fans running.
the color scheme has grown on me. seriously considering matching my other fans….. (rip credit card)

Zalman was peak style.

Not really a “best looking one”, but it’s probably one of the more “weirder looking ones” I’ve had.
..and it was loud as a motherfucker! When my setup at the time, ran at high loads; you could hear it through the walls.
I find the AMD stock coolers to be very nice. My friend found one at the thrift store and it just looks like it means business compared to the crappy hockey puck Intel stock coolers.

Looking at this picture made my knuckles start bleeding.
Lasted over ten years, from Core 2 Quad 9450 to i9-9900K (also Devil’s Canyon i7-4790k overclocked) and kept every CPU cool, just needing mount kit changes. Went from one 120mm to two in push-pull, but other than that, no changes. Heavy, solid AF, and I still have it though it’s not in use. Rivaled everything Noctua had for years.

I still have him.
But not in my PC

The Deepcool AK500 Digital. I just wish I could use its screen to display a Gif, cause it just does temperatures.
I do love the look of some of those older all bare copper coolers. Thermaltake and Zapman probably made the best looking ones, even if they were never the best at cooling. E.g. this flower cooler.
I had this bad boy. Thing was a tank, and put in good work. I ride it all the way to the first plug and play liquid cooling systems. Downside, thing was a dust magnet. That’s between fins could get caked with dust if you didn’t take care of it.

Fucking loved that cooler.
Great fan, think I had that on my Conroe?

intel stock coolers are nostalgic to me. I haven’t really had any cool looking air coolers.

I loved my cnps7000alcu, it was the a major reason for me to cut a hole in the case, add a window and neon.
