Doesn't have to be a modern one. Actually my favourite one is a really old Zalman CNPS9500. Just look at it. They don't make them like this anymore. Zalman had some weird looking coolers I don't think they ever did anything normal.

intel stock coolers are nostalgic to me. I haven’t really had any cool looking air coolers.

Yep, I had this year’s ago. I then also bought a zalman for my 7900 GT to allow me volt mod and overclock the shit out of it to play HL2

I find the AMD stock coolers to be very nice. My friend found one at the thrift store and it just looks like it means business compared to the crappy hockey puck Intel stock coolers.

    Thermalright TRUE Black.

Lasted over ten years, from Core 2 Quad 9450 to i9-9900K (also Devil’s Canyon i7-4790k overclocked) and kept every CPU cool, just needing mount kit changes. Went from one 120mm to two in push-pull, but other than that, no changes. Heavy, solid AF, and I still have it though it’s not in use. Rivaled everything Noctua had for years.

I had that… Actually I still have it. It’s like 12$ worth of good copper and I didn’t wanna throw it out.

I had this bad boy. Thing was a tank, and put in good work. I ride it all the way to the first plug and play liquid cooling systems. Downside, thing was a dust magnet. That’s between fins could get caked with dust if you didn’t take care of it.
