    Perfect excuse for a 9800x3d 5090 build

That PC looks much older than 2012. I haven’t seen a yellow motherboard that was newer than 2006. But that CPU is legitimately from 2011.

Are you sure the ram slots are burned? It looks like it could be dust. can you wipe it away?

Probably a power regulation component elsewhere on the board failed and it manifested in the RAM.

That’s about to be one hell of an upgrade.

  6. RIP to the old workhorse. Now you can get something a little more modern.

Pentium? You probably have daily rage fits on how often the PC hangs up.

What’s with the gunk in your RAM slots?

Could do a modern day am4/LGA 1700 budget build. I’ve seen some intel 300 processors (think modern day pentium) go for £30. Keep an eye out if I were you M8 and LGA 1700 boards can be had for insanely cheap prices (mine costed me £30) am4 is also pretty good in my experience as my b450 board was pretty cheap and is still chugging.

You are in for a performance treat… If you survive the heart palpitations after you see the prices…
